Start of it all

Today i woke up with the idea to make something great, to make a difference in the world, to embark myself in a quest of change.

Today i decided to declare war on all those individuals and groups (usually called scene releases) that choose "just because" to upload files in multiple rars to the net.

There is no point in doing that.

No point at all.

It hurts the people that download the files, and it hurt the community too.

When you download a multirared file you need twice the space to use that file, and then you have to keep those rars in order to seed back the data.

This promotes leeching actions, people just get rid of the rars enjoy their movie or whatever and stop seeding, hurting the torrent community.

I want to change the way things are.

My goal is to spread the word and stop this nonsense.

Being a member of a lot of torrent communities i will try to reach the people of these communities and put the word out there!

I will update this blog with the response of the people!

YOU can help by spreading the word to your mates!

Lets change something, for the greater good.

  1. Interesting topic you have chosen to be passionate about.. I agree completely, I do not DL rar period end of story... avi files are clean and for the most part work well for me with windows media player... I have on occassion dL'd a few rar because of availability and of course using winrar it's no big deal just an added step... My biggest issue is the threat of viruses.. rar files are by far more vulnerable to Trojans and bombs..... having said that it seems like sort of a chevy vs ford argument... people will decide which they prefer.. good luck, Rob Wallace
